About This Scholarships
There are four types of scholarships for full-time tertiary level study in New Zealand:

New Zealand ASEAN Scholar Awards, New Zealand Pacific Scholarships, and New Zealand Development Scholarships are available for study at any of the above ten New Zealand institutions.Subject offered: What subject do you want to study?

 Value of The Scholarships:

  • Full tuition fees
  • A living allowance (paid fortnightly)
  • An establishment allowance
  • Medical and travel insurance
  • Travel between your home country and New Zealand at the start and end of your scholarship
  • Home leave or reunion travel for some eligible scholars
  • Pastoral and academic support at your institution
  • Assistance with research and thesis costs for most postgraduate research students.

 How to apply (for 2019 intake):

Depending on Applicant’s country, applications can be done online or paper-based. Applicants from countries that are suitable for both online or paper-based applications, can apply from 1 February until 15 March 2018 (12pm NZ Time) on the other hand, applicants from satisfied countries that can only apply online can do so from 16 February until 30 March 2018 (12pm NZ Time). Only paper applications are accepted for New Zealand Commonwealth scholarships from 15 February to 30 March 2018.  For Application Schedule Click Here.
